We have reached the final sprint, but the rankings are still to be decided

After the halfway point, the Mezzalama Trophy 2017, Damiano Lenzi and Matteo Eydallin from the Italian Alpine corps lead the rankings in the men’s category, with a score of 600 points (the maximum obtainable in the three races disputed so far).

Hard on their heels are Michele Boscacci (544) and Nadir Maguet (506) who at the Altitoy will be racing side by side, with the precise aim of trying to overtake their rivals. Also well placed and in contention, are Lars Erik Skjervheim from Norway and the Italian Filippo Beccari.

In the women’s race, Jennifer Fiechter from Switzerland and Laetitia Roux, representing France, lead the field with 585 points. They will have to watch out for the other French woman, Axelle Mollaret (557) who, from what we have seen at the beginning of the season, is more than capable of aiming for top spot in the rankings.

Still to be raced are the Altitoy (3/4 March 2018), Pierra Menta (14/17 March 2018), the Millet Tour du Rutor Extrême (23/24/25 March 2018) and the Patrouille de Glaciers (22 April 2018). For details of rankings, ranking points in the youth categories, regulations and prizes...
